Friends of Keep Berkeley Beautiful Announces Quantix® as First Major Corporate Donor

MONCKS CORNER, SC – March 17, 2023 – Friends of Keep Berkeley Beautiful (FOKBB), the volunteer organization dedicated to reducing litter, improving recycling and beautifying communities, announced today that Quantix®, leading supply chain services company to the chemical industry, is its first major corporate donor.
Quantix has an export facility located in Moncks Corner. It initiated a partnership with FOKBB, an extension of Keep Berkeley Beautiful, in 2020 when it was building out the facility.
“We were ecstatic to meet with the Quantix team when they first moved to the area and learn about their commitment to environmental sustainability,” said Chris Volf, Chair of FOKBB. “FOKBB is extremely protective of its community and environmental impacts in the area, and partnering together to remain committed to a clean community and waterways is incredibly important to our mission.”
Quantix has a sustainability initiative and commits to being a leader in the chemical value chain through innovation and engagement with its people, communities and industry partners. In addition to being a corporate donor, Quantix’s head of export sits on the KBB board and employees have volunteered with KBB through highway clean-up programs.
